We began with a concept that designers want light fixtures to disappear in space. The fixture is not meant to be a statement piece. Compose fills the space volumetrically without glare. Our proprietary optical system took over 2 years to develop. Compose projects light across the ceiling at near 100 lm/w efficiency, and delivers performance in the near field to avoid hotness and inconsistency when mounted as close as 6” from the ceiling. This innovation enables the Compose system to deliver 40 ft candles of light (29” A.F.F.) at .7W per sq ft in open plan and .5W per sq ft in private offices.
