This design explores a metaphor of eyelash. The designer considers eyelashing is a pursuit for a personal expectation. He creates an eyelash stand as an icon of life or a miniature stage of performance. This stand symbolizes a reminiscent commitment in the morning or before bedtime, by setting eyelashes temporarily before or after being applied. An eyelash stand is a way to memorize what something trivial has contributed to personal daily adventure.

Shih received his Master of Architecture and Doctor in Architecture degrees from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Michigan. He is a professor in the Department of Architecture, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, since 1991. He has been working on 1. Architectural design studios in graduate school and undergraduate for 25 years. From computer-aided design to traditional architectural space manipulation, I always like to try different technologies for reality and metaphor. 2. VR by object-based and image-based approaches; 3.
