The Urban Green Light eco-building façade system is designed to optimize the micro-climate of the built environment for subtropical climate region. The designed module could form an extra layer of the building skin to provide shading for windows as well as preventing excessive heat for building envelope. Each module is made of recycled plastic milk jugs and bottles with three different compositions incorporating small solar panels, planter, and LED lights as needed. It also uses the breathable skin concept that utilizes the wind-funnel to increase ventilation for greater thermal comfort.
