Inspired by the lights pollution of restaurants and cafes nearby the seaside, Sframe is a trio of elements: table, stool and lights able to fully furnish indoor and outdoor spaces. Sframe is a bright empty volume that lights the steps of their users by simplicity and modularity, entirely hand made by local Sicilian artisans. Is an object designed to reduce light pollution as material consuption and work-time flows. Is functional to give back the stars to their usual place and let customers all over the world enjoy them. Could be locally hand crafted and easily customized.

Alice Tedesco, emergent Italian ecodesigner with an international portfolio. Her expertise touches different fields between sustainability, product and interior design. Graduated as Industrial Designer in the Polytechnic of Milan, has spent almost one year in Brazil researching the new trends of sustainability and social innovation. Back to Milan, worked on service and interior design with a strong focus on product development. Only last year she spent some months in Sicily working and managing commercial projects, collaborating with local craftsmen for interior and product’s projects. Actually based in New York, working for an known Italian design company as kitchen designer.

BellaVista Ristobar is a seaside Restaurant located in Agrigento (Sicily, IT) owned by the brothers Dario and Gabriele Messina, who shared their lives between the family restaurant and international blowing experiences. The BellaVista Ristobar, designed entirely by Alice Tedesco, is the synthesis of their common dream, is a place designed to innovate the local food experience and able to embrace everybody’s leisure attitude and requirement in a general feeling of unique welcome. The series Sframe is the material connection between indoor and outdoor, private and social space. Is a multifunctional furniture that use less to give back more, more functions, more atmosphere and better experience. It’s an empty volume, lighted with recessed LED E27 that allow to use it indoor or outdoor as a side table or a stool. To stay in line with the rest of the concept is entirely hand made by the expertise of local artisans following the designer’s guidelines.
