Yalda is the name of Iranian ancient ceremony which gets its antiquity from Achaemenid. It resembles Easter somehow. Iranians celebrate the arrival of the winter and eat pomegranate in this night, since it symbolizes happiness and eating it in Yalda night gives the message that spring will return and the nature will wake up again. This design is made of gold because it's valuable and comes from the nature and therefore it's a suitable material to represent this ancient tradition and also to keep it alive. Accordingly, it shows respect to the nature as a source of life for humankind.
