Its particular inclination allows reading in the most various situations: reading recipes or watching tutorial while cooking, reading while typing at your desk or storing books on your bedside table

The brand aims at expressing the aesthetic values inspired by the same simplicity and linearity that characterized the Italian design of the Fifties. Constant research on materials is a key feature for Officine Tamborrino, as it specifically focuses itself on steel applications for interior design by expressing its values in terms of durability, stability and lightness at the same time. This project derives from Tamborrino’s family tradition and know-how in working steel, as they founded Scaffsystem company in Ostuni town (Apulian region, Italy) for the design and production of warehousing solutions and industrial metal structures. Officine Tamborrino expresses Made in Italy tradition, family business continuity and the dynamic attitude of a team creating innovation starting from one’s own identity. A young brand, but with a story that begins in 1957 already, as Tamborrino’s family opened its first workshop for artisanal production of office metal furniture and then grew over the years to become Scaff System industrial enterprise. In 2012 the company retrieved this artisanal dimension of the early beginnings in order to develop a design collection which could combine the most up-to-date technology with a bespoke attitude and focus on details. As a result, based upon main company’s expertise and tradition, the first product of OT collection was launched, PRIMA bookshelves, to open new ways and horizons for design and production of metal furniture.
