Raphael François Etendard French Territories Identity
Etendard French Territories Identity is Bronze Design Award winner in 2015 - 2016 Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award Category.
Etendard French Territories Identity

Etendard is an experimental work of reflection on the visual identity of the French Republic. This component deals with the pre-2016 territorial identity, and tries to create a balance between important symbols, technical necessity, historical legitimacy and modernity. The goal is to convey an unifying common image. In the past, territories were represented by armorial bearing (heraldry, shield ...), they have a historical legitimacy for the representation of the territories. Etendard is the fruit of a long process of synthesizing and stylization of these symbols.
