There’s a sense of beauty was unrefined and often ignored that experienced the imprint of age, heat of sunlight and the dripping of rain. As time goes by, a primary aesthetic scenery was unrevealed and created by the carving of nature, simple, yet ignored. By applying the same perspective to this space site, the texture of architecture concrete slate was represented directly by showing the original craftsmanship. The construction marks on the wall were preserved and then became a trace of history that brings out rich layers of light gradients by the variation of seasons.

Chih Chung, Shen (Ron Shen), the director and the chairman of X-Line Design Co., Ltd., established in 2005 as X-Line Design Studio, set up Shen Chih Chung Union Design Co., Ltd. in 2013. Ron Shen was graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design of University of the Arts London. He won many awards and has made outstanding contributions in the field of interior design. His works have been recognized by internationally renowned design media such as INTERIOR DESIGN, ATTITUDE, etc. He also performs CSR by giving lecture classes to university students. X-Line Design, is involved mainly in space design, including building space, commercial space, and residential space, with the concept of "linear stretch" to explore the essence of space, and to investigate the constancy between perception and space.
