The brooch is designed to signify dew drops that represent truth, sincerity, peace and innocence. The most significant part of the design is the depiction of leaf encircling around a stem. All aspects were given special importance while designing this piece so that it stays true to nature.

Maria’s journey from art aficionado to jewellery designer has been gradual and unintentional yet passionate. Though initially pursuing a business degree her love for art, nurtured through drawing, sculpture and miniature painting, ultimately led her down a different path. Maria has worked on building her personal design style through her different experiences. From her initial days working for an independent designer in Pakistan, studying with GIA in New York and then to Richemont Creative Academy in Milano to interning with Vacheron Constantin in Geneva, and recently working on freelance jewellery design projects in UAE. Inspired by eveyday elements, she transforms them into stunning jewellery pieces that capture the essence of natures beauty. Maria looks forward to making single haute pieces that evoke emotion and to bring something new to the diverse field of jewellery design.
