This chess set, created in modern style, is comprised of manufactured birch hardwood dowels and squares that have been milled, drilled, sanded and painted. The floating board design beckons the art aficionado and competitor alike with a balanced arrangement of shapes, reflecting the traditional geometric theme of a chess board in light and shade.
