The house is designed around the interaction between cats and humans - not as pets and owners, but as harmonious co-inhabitants. The design looks at the 'flow' inside the house so that it is not overcrowded, in doing this it looks at the close emotional distance of both inhabitants as they occupy the different spaces. The design is based around the living conditions of both house cats and stray cats and their ‘life styles’. The architecture and materials epitomize this and at the same time appeals to the humans modern perspective on design.
