Tina Gorjanc Moment Conceptual fashion collection
Moment Conceptual fashion collection is Silver Design Award winner in 2014 - 2015 Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Award Category.
Moment Conceptual fashion collection

The conceptual fashion collection has been conceived as the result of a personal theoretical construing of time. It resulted in an independent interpretation of timelessness which launches the project in a new way into the world of design. It is not based only on the subjective comprehension of the historical and sociological background which is usually attributed to objects, but also interprets their independence from time through the very form of the garments. The final product is thus a collection which simulates the frozen moment and the impact of external factors on textile fabric.

I believe that designers have the responsibility to make progress and contribute to a variety of fields, such as materials, methods, products, sustainability, systems, ethics, etc. They have the obligation to move the design development in the right direction. However, the decision regarding what the right direction actually is depends purely on the designer him/herself.

Department of Textile, University Of Natural Science, Ljubljana, Slovenia

The Department of Textiles offers undergraduate, taught postgraduate and guided research programmes in the Design of Textiles and Clothing. The basic objective of the Bachelor of Arts programme is to prepare qualified graduates for independent and unique industrial design work, as well as to ensure adequate fundamentals for postgraduate education in textile and clothing design.
