115 Bathurst St. Mixed-use Development Architecture - Residential, arts spaces

Situated within the heart of Sydney commercial district, 115 Bathurst Street Mixed-use Development is a combination of adaptive reuse of existing structure and creation of new structure, together forming a high-rise residential tower with a podium providing spaces for public art programmes. The design was inspired by the Aboriginal geometrical line forms and contemporary sculpture of Clement Meadmore. The concept of confluence celebrates the convergence of the old and the new to create an architecture that looks confidently to the future, while acknowledging and respecting the past.
