Massaya is a decorative package to hold two wine bottles. Usually wine packages are made for vertical display and then the package is thrown away once the bottles are removed. We wanted to break this trend by finding a reusable solution that is true to the object it holds. We designed a horizontal package, since wine is best stored in this position, and made it to look like a vintage book so that buyers can reuse it as a decorative box.

BRANDiT is a design & branding studio, which provides branding and strategic solutions through different range of disciplines. BRANDIT specializes and has gained recognition in the industry as a branding company, yet also does packaging and website design. For this particular project, BRANDiT was requested to design a gift-box containing two Silver Selection wine bottles. The creative direction was simple yet one that embraced the value of wine and wine bottles. It resembled a book, which tells a story as most wine bottles do. The end result was an award winning package design. BRANDiT draws its creative inspiration through hard grafted work in research, concept formation and the desire to be original rather than spontaneous. It seeks to stay true to the character profile of the client and the product.
