Cerrada Reforma 108 is a residential project located in San Angel, Mexico. We decided to construct only half of the plot with a longitudinal block of 5 x 20 meters for the house. The built block dialogues with its open counterpart through a transparent façade all along the side, leaving open one of its faces. In this way, the only closed elements are the private areas such as bathrooms and kitchen. The counterpart of the transparent façade is a solid wall with the same heigh that contains the open space. This helps close the visibility towards the neighbors, giving privacy to the house.

DCPParquitectos was founded in Mexico on 2006 by architects Pablo Perez Palacios and Alfonso de la Concha Rojas, the firm integrates both design projects and construction. Its main objective is to give a clear and strong solution to the different types of problems always responding to the conditions of each project giving what we call an honest response. Always searching for alternatives and solutions that are not only functional but provocative and innovative, with a contemporary architectonic language that is in a constant research for an original and coherent architecture that will dignify its user and will the built environment more quality specially as the time passes.
