Axteroid is a versatile lighting product due to the fact that it can be used as a ceiling lamp or as a floor lamp. This multiple usage and adaptation is possible because of it's inventive shape wich helps guide the light in five focused points and, when used on the floor, makes use of two optimal illuminating angles. The lamp is designed to illuminate on specific points without allowing great dispertion of of light on it's sourroundings, thus creating strong shades and warm, well defined areas of light. The outcome is a scenographic light setting in any interior they are placed.

201 Design Studio was founded in 2012 by Ene Mira and Codrin Stanciulescu after they completed their studies at the University of Arhitecture and Urbnism "Ion Mincu" in Bucharest, Romania. So far they focused on developing their products and exhibited them at various exhibitions and fairs both national and international. The objects that they create are based on functionality and the responsible and novel se of materials. The interaction between the user and the product is one of the key elements that determine our creation process.
