The design challenge involved retaining the essential character of a classic heirloom toy, whilst using advanced techniques and a modular construction system to allow for future additional animal types with minimal part changes. The packaged product also needed to be compact and under 10kg for direct internet sales channels. Use of custom print laminate is a real first, resulting in perfect color/pattern rendition on a totally scratch-resistant surface
