Hypertank is an educational and entertainment complex that combines design expertise with visual artists to create captivating interstellar experiences. Inspired by mankind's obsession with interplanetary travel and cosmic phenomena, the project aims to construct sensory stimulations that inspire imagination and exploration. It includes spatial sequences such as boarding deck, interactive elevator chambers, a grand concourse, hibernation pods, transportation capsules, and leisure hubs. Guests can fully engage in galactic expeditions through interactive animations and customized resonances.

Jeffrey’s expertise is in adapting international advanced design concepts to local needs, meanwhile, pursuing design quality and innovation in every project. Since the inception of JFR Studio, he led his team to complete over 100 projects for well-known companies at home and abroad, including high-end entertainment spaces, restaurants, brand showrooms, flagship stores, hotels, etc. These projects were honored with an array of awards such as the IDA International Design Awards, the A’Design Award, the FRAME Award, the China International Space Design Competition, and the Successful Design Awards.

JFR founded by Jeffrey Zee back in 2013. JFR Studio is an inter-disciplinary design office comprises of a group of energetic and creative design professionals based in Shanghai. The boutique studio mainly engages in interior design, space planning, brand building and consulting services in the fields of commercial, hospitality and entertainment. Since its establishment, the company has completed well over hundreds of projects throughout mainland China and overseas. These projects range from high-end clubhouses, restaurants, brand exhibition halls, show flats, bars and nightclubs, brand flagship stores, boutique hotels etc. The client list includes famous domestic and international retail and hospitality groups.
