Parqal is the centerpiece of Aseana City integrating Nature, Work and Leisure, promoting Liveability, Walkability and Sustainability. The 650m long retail strip is broken down into 5-minute walks between plazas to encourage space exploration. The design is based on the traditional Philippine architectural typology Bahay na Bato and is enveloped by a floating canopy that serves as the flagship spine of Aseana City that protects the space from the rain while allowing for natural ventilation.
