Long Time Clock is inspired by the captivating art of kirigami, a traditional Japanese technique that beautifully combines folding and cutting paper. Just like in kirigami, this clock is a blend of art and functionality. The cutting and folding technique allows for the creation of Roman numerals on the clock's sides. As a result, the numerals themselves seem to leap out of the metal strip, creating a play of positive and negative areas. Made from a laser-cut strip of aluminum, the clock has been sustainably designed to minimize material waste.

Shelly’s favorite technology in the last decade is metal bending. Even after the development of hundreds of products, the process of transition from a two-dimensional layout to a three-dimensional product amazed her every time a new.
