This project aims to create the city brand image. In the design concept, it achieves a balance between two elements: Taishun forms an open and variable tangible part, while white space becomes the intangible part. To meet the diverse application needs of city brand construction, this logo can be interpreted with variations in lines and strong recognition through spatial design, symbolizing the infinite possibilities of the city and having great potential for development.
Associate Professor / Master's Supervisor, Zhejiang Gongshang University Responsibilities: Brand Design / Visual Design, etc. Mr. Zhao graduated with a master's degree from Tongji University. He currently works as the Design Director at Hangzhou Big Soundwave Culture Creative Co., Ltd., and has been engaged in brand and VI design for 18 years. He has served various brands including Alibaba Group, Ant Group, Zhejiang Natural Museum, Zhejiang Wuzhen Internet Conference, Louwailou, and has completed nearly 50 projects. He has won awards such as the Red Dot Award, IF Design Award, Hong Kong Global Design Award, and Hiiibrand Award.
Taishun County, located on the border of southern Zhejiang Province. It covers a total area of 1,768 square kilometers and consists of 12 towns and 7 townships, with a total population of 367,900. Taishun owns a unique geographical environment that has fostered special cultural deposits. It has rich intangible cultural heritage, including bridge culture, tea culture, Taishun stone culture, bamboo and wood culture, Red Revolution Culture and folk customs.
