Utospace is a functional set of stainless steel planters and candleholders made of SUS316 (SS 18/10). It can be used as a planter or holder for candle pillars or sticks. There are 3 candlestick holders which can be removed and used individually. The base can also act as a tray for separate use. The design idea of Utospace comes from the ideal country of Utopia and the Asian philosophy, the Analects of Confucius Zilu, both of which also represent a kind of spiritualism, harmonious integration, and great unity.

Irene Yeung is a Hong Kong based designer who studied marketing & graphic design in tertiary education. After graduation, she was self-taught in product design while having over 20 years working experience in sheet metalworking industry. She is one of the new emerging designers who can counteract between art, design and manufacturing. Irene also participated in the exhibitions as an illustrator with hand-drawn and digital artwork shown at the Collate Exhibition 2019 in Hong Kong and the Asia Illustrations Collections Art Exhibition 2017 in Taiwan & Malaysia.
