This is a special sake design created to commemorate the 180th anniversary of Hasegawa Sake Brewery. 180 years of traditional taste and skills have been passed down through the generations, and the tree ring was used as the main visual to express history and the future. The colors of the entire outer box were inspired by ink painting to express tradition and luxury. The commemorative logo is printed in gold to match the family crest of the brewery. The bottle inside is a contrasting black image. The roughness of the bottle expresses the weight of tradition and technology.

We find attractive products lying in the Japanese countryside and create opportunities to spread their appeal to the world through the power of package design and branding. Rather than imposing our own preferences, we approach design with the goal of achieving positive results for both the manufacturer and the consumer. We also place the utmost importance on reading and expressing the background and story behind the motifs we design. By doing so, we believe we can create new value through our designs.

"Hasegawa Shuzo" is a sake brewery with a 180-year history in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture. Its sake emphasizes traditional methods and flavors, and has long been popular among the general public.
