Udo means peace in Hindu, a reflection of what the designer had been searching for this project and executed in its ambiance. She describes it as a symbol of amplitude, where the unity of colors come together in harmony. All the spaces in Casa Udo have elements of design that forces its visitors to admire them. From the simplicity in the entrance to its complicity with the living areas. These spaces have been designed in earthy hues to create the sensation of lightness and tranquility it offers.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic having done her designs studies in Milano Italy, Rosadela Serulle started design studio in 2005, her designs are a mixture of tropical and eclectic design, that translates on to any project. As a designer she completely thinks out of the box, to her, clients are the number one priority, their comfort and the importance that they can identify themselves through design. Currently she is described as a designer who melts styles together, conforming a magical space full of artistic elements the client can always enjoy. She describes that her most important objective is to design a home where all spaces are enjoyable and used, excluding her from those designers that choose to create a museum like residence.

The project Casa Udo is a design like no other, from a blank canvas, the designer has created a unique setting for any home. All the spaces in Casa Udo have elements of design that forces its visitors to admire them. The simplicity in the entrance and its complicity with the grand living room. The study, however, is a statement as it differs from the other spaces in the apartment in its strong use of color, resulting in a space of admiration. A textured wallpaper was used that matches the color of the built in furniture. In the dining room there are so many attentions to details, for example, the dining table made from white Carrara marble smooth to the touch but creates endless curves or the built in wine cellar which excelled the owner’s expectation. The atmosphere created in the terrace is like no other, the technique with micro cement on the walls, or the bold selection of furniture meshed into a beautiful space tells the story of comfort within design. While entering the bedrooms, you can tell the different personalities of each habitant converted into habitable design.
