Operating the lamp requires you to touch the wooden surface when sliding the center pillar through the outer structure. This emits the soothing sound of two solid wood pieces sliding alongside each other while the light softly dims up or down. The lamp does not use swiping motions, 5G or AI. It is a piece of nature that stands alongside you to present you with light and a calming sensation.

Joakim is a lighting designer located and working in Sweden. He discovered his passion for light while sketching light and shadows in an architecture class. After graduating university with a degree in lighting design Joakim is working with outdoor lighting as well as luminaire design. For Joakim all designs are interresting. He sporadically spends late nights when his and his wife's first baby is asleep sketching on new ideas.
