Gaelic Games Victoria is an organisation that manages the Irish sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling in the Australian state of Victoria. They needed a brand identity had to symbolise both Gaelic Games and Victoria, and a logo that worked equally well reproduced online and embroidered onto jerseys. The inspiration behind the logo design came from exploration and research into vintage Australian Rules football crests and Gaelic crests from Ireland. The final design displays creative elements from these themes, combining them into a mark that equally reflects Ireland and Australia.
