Acorny Physical Computing Educational Product

Acorny is designed to encourage children to learn coding through playing with an educational kit. The kit is designed with the motif of computer processing flow which made coding beginners intuitively understand computational thinking concepts. Based on the module selected by the users, the application provides various coding tutorials. recommendations, and challenges to enable coding beginners in a range of activities and explore computational concepts.

Having grown up in Seoul, studied in Firenze(Italy) and Los Angeles, I soon developed a love of both visual design and digital media. I love to make people’s life both unique and delightful by understanding user’s behavior and emotions in digital culture. My background in Communication Design and UX/UI design combined with my desire to create a human-centered design that influences social change. I am interested in solving complex social problems through psychological research findings, quantitative data, and utilizing my creativeness as a passionate designer.

Acorny is designed to encourage children to learn through playing with our educational and Learning STEM toys and games. Our toys teach science, technology, engineering, robotics, arts, and math activities for kids of all ages. We also work with educators to help them design an optimized STEM curriculum.
