The designer took photos at a time when leaving the house and meeting people was a challenge, i.e. during the pandemic. Staying at home for a long time triggered the author's creativity. Therefore everyday objects found in the house, such as bowls of water, reflective materials, windows in the building were used to model the light. Her works were taken in color first, then changed to black and white. Everything was done digitally. Only one photo she took with artificial light from a lamp and it is a portrait of a boy. Silhouettes are often shown hidden.

Maja Zińczuk is a graduate of Film and Television Image Production, specializing in cinematography. She continues to develop her work in visual storytelling through film and photography. In her photographic practice, she focuses on light, composition, and atmosphere, drawing from cinematographic language. Her interests include both portraiture and landscape. She currently works at an art gallery, where she is involved in promotion and creates films about artists and their work.

In her photography she often reaches for film motives in which shows influence of surrealism and onirism. Passion for creation of image she developed in The Higher School of Art and Design in Łódź (Poland), where she has finished department of cienematography.She archives painterly through love for analog photography and special method of postproduction. Film frames brings peculiar atmosphere due to natural ilumination,becasue she concentrate on it the biggest note. She published her photography in Photo Vogue Italy and Art and Commerce (Photo Vogue Collection).
