The Milky Way project was inspired by the galaxy in the sky. The warm white color tone reflects people's imagination. When night falls, the interlaced lines are illuminated. Full-color LED light tubes are adopted, with 7 shifting colors to produce rich visual effects and display the mystery and charm of the vast universe. The sculpture also spans 90 meters with a height of 40 meters, producing a giant volume. The structure symbolizes the mountain and water landscape of Wuhan.

My name is Zhen Li, I was born on 1980-01-30. Now I am a Public artist, cross-field designer, and curator. In 2003, I was graduated from the Environmental Art Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a Bachelor of Arts degree. And In 2008, I got a Master of Arts degree from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. From 2005 to now, I have been teaching at the Urban Design School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

CAPA(Beijing) takes China’s present urbanization processing and practice cases of the city rebuild as important research points. Through studying and exploring domestic and overseas excellent public art projects and city construction cases, CAPA always rooted in China’s condition and trying to explore a new public art mode that is suitable for China’s urban development. The CAPA aims at developing cities as a diversifying, three-dimensional, personalized, and artistic combination through public art researches and practices.
