Lian is based on the research of the current situation of China's education development and investigation of the dilemma and demand of Chinese students. Student designers take the image of ripples in ancient Chinese poems as the inspiration of the design. Users can move the work surface flexibly and combine the chairs freely according to their needs. The work achieves the balance between product function, style and production possibilities, which have considered personal pleasure and demand, users’ interaction and the process of production.

Lian Mengfei is from China. She is currently a student at Donghua University in Shanghai, majoring in product design. Now She is engaged in the research of product service design and positive design under the leadership of the teachers. She believes that design is to solve problems for individuals or/and society, provide services, and for a better world. Now she is studying hard for it.

Zhejiang Huimei is a brand specially designed for school furniture. The student designers of Zhejiang Huimei have designed a series of products including school desks, dormitory furniture, classroom seating, etc after a full investigation of Chinese college students. They hope that their design works can be suitable for contemporary Chinese universities and college students and the younger students of their university can use these furniture in the future.
