These works are the reflection of the Marine Habitat. The object can be used as an indoor and outdoor lamp, designed to create new atmospheres with plays of light and shadows on the wall. Raku process: after the glazing and the second firing at 930 degrees celsius, the object is removed still hot from the oven and the thermal shock starts, this phase is managed in three minutes; the flames and the oxygen reduction method they are decisive both for the decorative crazing effect and for metallic and iridescent reflections. The fusion is harmonized thanks to the reflections of Led lighting.
Ana Maria Reque, lives and works in Venice. Graduated in Architecture in 1995, she carried out a research path of architectural and artistic direction. 1998 in Cuba, 2002 at the IUAV in Venice, 2015 Degree in Sculpture, at the Venice Academy. In the artistic field, she works transversely with different disciplines, uses Deconstructivism in art and architecture. In the field of Design, she was awarded in 2017 with a silver A'Design Award. Since 2008 she has participated in 42 collective and 4 individual exhibitions held in Italy, Peru,North America,Slovenia, Monaco, Switzerland, France .In Peru she founded the “Habitat and Heritage” Association.
Ana Maria Reque Art,in the field of architecture carries out housing projects, in the field of Design produces lamps and luminous sculptures. The goal is to integrate art and design. The work is transversal through the integration of different disciplines and the fusion of ceramic with Murano glass. In the last four years 36 Lamps were developed whith the collaboration of the Glassmakers Paolo Giubelli and Tessaro Brothers. In 2020 it was possible to place some lamps outside of Italy.
