Binomio Taller

Binomio believes architecture and interior design are one and the same: the distribution of the habitable space. Both are necessary in every single project that is made, and need to be tackled from the very first ideas of the concept up to the very last details of the construction. They design every project from the inside-out at the same time as from the outside-in, creating spaces that are integral and well-rounded, from every angle.

Binomio Taller

Binomio is a young architecture and design firm, dedicated to the creation of integral projects focused on architecture, interior and furniture design. Founded in 2015, in Merida, Mexico, by interior designer Maya Ruz and architect Raquel Rodriguez. Their design premise parts from the belief that every project is unique and one-of-a-kind, responding directly to the requirements of each client. They believe in the need to design every project from the outside in at the same time as designing from the inside out, creating integral spaces starting from the concept up to the very last detail of construction and styling. Every project should be experienced by all of the senses, creating a well rounded atmosphere in each and every space. Binomio has worked extensively in the recovery of Merida's Historic Center, restoring historic colonial Casonas and giving them new life as contemporary homes for a variety of clients.
