#532: Why I am not receiving emails from you? I want to receive your emails.
At our company, we place a high value on email compliance and user privacy. Our email communications are sent exclusively to active subscribers who have provided explicit consent through a double opt-in process. We always include an easy-to-use unsubscribe link in every email, and promptly honor all requests to unsubscribe. To comply with Italian and international laws, we also provide our complete contact information, including a physical mailing address. We use email as a way to deliver valuable content and promotions to our subscribers, and we strive to ensure that our email campaigns are engaging and tailored to their interests yet you may still have trouble receiving our emails due to conflict of interest, unintentional censorship and technical issues, which we explain here.
But first, let's focus on what you can do to ensure you get our emails :
(1) Make sure you are signed up through our double opt-in process: By signing up through our double opt-in process, you can confirm your interest in receiving emails and ensure that you are an active subscriber. In simple terms, this means when you create your account you should confirm your email by clicking on the email confirmation link because we do not send email to nonconfirmed users.
(2) Check spam and junk folders: Sometimes our legitimate emails can get caught in spam or junk folders, especially because our company name is A' Design Award which includes word award, and also we mention prize, competition, win keywords often, these are often filtered keywords that trigger some non-contextual spam filters that are keyword based, so we recommend that you check these folders regularly and mark any of our legitimate emails as "not spam" or "not junk."
(3) Whitelist us and our sender: You can add our email address, especially support@adesignaward.com to your contact list or address book to help ensure that our emails are delivered to your inbox.
(4) Use the unsubscribe link: If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, please use the unsubscribe link provided in every email to opt out of future communications. Marking an email as spam can have unintended consequences and may not effectively remove you from our list, we are explaining this below why.
(5) Contact us: If you are still having trouble receiving our emails, please contact us for assistance. We may be able to help troubleshoot technical issues or provide guidance on how to ensure our emails are delivered to your inbox. We can also manually enable your email; this is because even if you confirm your email our system will try to send a test email to see if your email account actually works, this is called email verification and if your email does not pass verification we will not send you emails.
(6) Change email provider: In extreme cases, you may need to switch to a different email provider if you are experiencing persistent issues with email deliverability. Especially we would recommend avoiding third party email providers that also run massive advertising businesses due to potential conflict of interests that may be arising.
(7) Please note that we take spam very seriously and comply with all applicable laws and regulations as a responsible sender. We encourage our subscribers to use the unsubscribe link provided in every email to opt out of receiving future communications, as marking an email as spam can have unintended consequences and may not effectively remove the subscriber from our list.
It's important to note that some email providers do not report to us who marked an email as spam due to privacy concerns. However, it's worth considering that these same providers are often the very same companies that sell or use your information to sell advertising, which can create a conflict of interest when it comes to email delivery. Some providers may not want other entities to be able to send emails because it hurts their business models, which are based on advertising. When we're able to send emails without paying for advertisements, this creates an opportunity cost, a negative externality for a specific subset of email hosting providers that are also in the advertising business, that would have otherwise would benefit from us paying for clicks instead.
Protecting your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and we strongly believe that email providers should report when an email is marked as spam so that we can stop sending emails to those who do not wish to receive them. By not reporting who marked an email as spam, email providers may unintentionally enable unsolicited emails to continue, which can ultimately harm both senders and recipients.
Additionally, we believe that email providers choosing which emails to pass through and which to block without your consent can be detrimental to your freedom of information and society as a whole. This process can create a sense of disempowerment and frustration, as users may feel that access to information is being limited or controlled by a third party. From a psychological and social perspective, this can have significant implications and may impede individuals and groups from making informed decisions and engaging in free and open discourse.
Moreover, in extreme cases, this practice of limiting access to certain types of information can lead to censorship and the suppression of ideas and viewpoints, which can have serious and far-reaching consequences for society.
While we ask our subscribers to use the unsubscribe link provided in every email to opt out of future communications, we recognize that email filtering and blocking can be a complex and multifaceted issue. If you have any concerns or questions about our email practices, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are committed to providing our subscribers with valuable and engaging content in a responsible and ethical manner and will do our best to assist you in maintaining a clean and compliant email list.
(8) This is why we noted you may want to change email service provider, we are sorry to explain you in great detail because this is really a sensitive issue for us. We have a very big number of users, and we send a significant number of emails every year, and this is bothering us far and beyond. If you have any questions or concerns about our email practices, please don't hesitate to contact us, we will help you.
(9) Finally, it is funny we almost forget, make sure you are actually registered and actively subscribed, check your Control Panel and access Email Notification Settings to see if you are currently unsubscribed or not, if you are unsubscribed resubscribe. If it does not work, contact us.
