With a background in wearable technologies, he applies XR in remote manufacturing and skill transfer. USEYA works with public and private sectors to build accessible digital environments that support social inclusion and regional development through practical technology.
STATEMENT OF ART:I have come to see design and art as powerful tools for inclusivity and self-expression. By combining practical application with a sense of curiosity, design transcends physical and financial boundaries, connecting people across diverse backgrounds. Art, in turn, offers a universal language that conveys emotions, ideas, and new ways of seeing the world.
For me, design and art are most impactful when they invite dialogue and collaboration. Rather than existing in isolation, they flourish when shared among communities that inspire one another. In my experience, technology can enhance these collaborations, enabling creators to reach a broader audience regardless of location or ability. Ultimately, my approach revolves around empathy, openness, and the belief that design and art should be welcoming and accessible to all.

EXPERIENCE:
2002 Joined software company as a systems engineer.
2008 Established USEYA Co., Ltd, and assumed CEO position.
2010 Starting development of a cloud-based core system.
2013 Starting development of software for smart glasses.
2023 USEYA was selected as an XR content production company by the Kansai Economic and Business Bureau of Japan.
2024.08 Selected as a 2024 finalist for the international award "XR Awards"
We are pleased to announce that our XR technology-equipped digital share workshop USEYA ADVANCED INDUSTRY (UAI), has been selected as one of the finalists in the XR Enterprise Solution category of the AIXR XR awards, which evaluates international XR technology.
The XR Awards is an international award that evaluates XR technologies such as AR/VR/MR. In Japan, USJ has become the finalist in 2022, and Sony in 2023. We are delighted that a small company of about ten people like ours has been nominated as one of the world's top 11 finalists in this category!
