Specializing in brand identity, packaging, editorial design, and visual communication, he has collaborated with clients across various industries, delivering creative solutions that blend strategic thinking with visual aesthetics. His work has been recognized with multiple international design awards, including the HKDA-GDA Gold / Global Top 10, New York ADC Silver Cube, K-Design Award, DNA Paris Design Awards, and DFA Design for Asia Awards. Through his practice, he explores the intersection of creativity and functionality, contributing to the design industry by crafting meaningful visual narratives.
Design, to me, is the art of creating connections—between people and ideas, between cultures and time, between the visible and the invisible. It is not just about solving problems, but about communicating emotions, sparking reflection, and opening new perspectives. Good design carries function; great design carries soul.
Coming from a background in visual communication, I see design as a silent yet powerful language. It allows me to tell stories without words, to capture the nuances of human experience, and to translate abstract values into visual form. Whether it’s a brand identity, a package, or a calendar, every project is a chance to shape meaning, to engage people not just visually, but intellectually and emotionally.
Art, on the other hand, is more personal and poetic. It does not seek to be understood in a linear way, but to be felt. While design leans toward clarity and intent, art embraces ambiguity and intuition. Yet in my practice, the boundaries between the two often blur—my design work is always informed by artistic thinking, and my artistic explorations often adopt the structure and precision of design. I enjoy working in this in-between space, where function meets feeling, where aesthetics meet strategy.
In a world saturated with visuals, I believe design should be intentional and honest. It should slow people down, not speed them up; invite contemplation, not just consumption. I draw inspiration from everyday life, from cultural heritage, and from quiet moments. I often begin with a feeling or a visual metaphor, then build the design around that core. This helps me stay authentic and rooted in purpose.
As a designer, I value restraint over excess, clarity over trend, and depth over noise. I believe that the best works are not necessarily the loudest, but the most enduring—the ones that stay with people long after they’ve been seen. Ultimately, my goal is not to impress, but to express something true, something worth remembering.
