She worked in ERSA Furniture before beginning her academic career. Afterwards, she received her MFA from the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design program of Bilkent University. She completed her Ph.D. in the History of Architecture program of Middle East Technical University. She has been working in Atilim University since 2012, and currently is an instructor in the department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design program.
