About PEDRO GALASO : Pedro Galaso holds a sandwich degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Estacio University together with the University of Oxford (UK), and a postgraduate degree in Interior and Furniture Design from the Instituto Europeo di Design (IED). It was through Architecture that he discovered his passion for furniture. He currently runs an Architecture Office with an emphasis on urban and residential furniture projects. He has developed a solid line of thinking through which he believes that furniture doesn't necessarily translate to inert objects, as the title implies: it needs to be fluid. Bearing that in mind, Pedro always applies more than one use to each piece. Within four years from graduation, he’s been gaining more and more notoriety in the design and architecture scenery, collecting over 6 awards worldwide, holding exhibitions and lectures, thus consolidating his trajectory. One of the most remarkable awards the designer has ever been granted was ART BASEL - MIAMI’s Best Furniture Design at New Talents Exhibition, for his Uba stool.
