​Her immersive textiles take inspiration from nostalgia as well as the sights, smells and experiences of her homeland, India. Her work combines colour, pattern and illustration along with complex woven structure, surface embellishment and material exploration. She has immense admiration for traditional techniques and is interested in how to utilise those techniques in more contemporary ways.
