He began his studies in 2000 and in 2005 he obtained his master degree with honours in Professor Jerzy Treliński’s Visual Information Studio, a unit of the Department of Graphic Design in the Faculty of Graphics and Painting at the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź. In 2002 he participated in the Erasmus Programme in the Media & Communication School in Kouvola, Finland, and in 2005 he was granted a scholarship of the Danish government in Danmarks Designskole in Copenhagen. In 2006 he was granted the position of the assistant in Professor Treliński’s Visual Information Studio. Since 2010 he has been the assistant of Associate Professor Piotr Karczewski, In 2018 he has got the PhD (Visual information for the City Parks in Lodz). Currently working as graphic design PhD teacher at the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź (Identity Graphic Studio) and art director in publishing house 'Afterimages'.

He participated in over 50 graphic design group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, such as: the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw (2006, 2012, 2014), the Polish Poster Salon in Warsaw (2007, 2008, 2011), the Polish Poster Biennale in Katowice (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015), the International Poster Biennale in Lublin (2016), the Golden Bee Biennale in Moscow (2006), the Trnava Poster Triennial (2006, 2009), Ecuador Poster Bienal (2016), the jazz poster exhibition ‘Celebrate Jazz’ in Gliwice (2014,2019), the Poster Fest in Chorzów (2015), the poster exhibition ‘Roller Poster’ in Szczecin (2016) and many typographic poster events, e.g. ‘Typoplakat’ in the Printing Museum in Cieszyn (2009), Slovak Design Centre in Bratislava (2014), the Armturka Gallery in Ústí nad Labem (2015), Type and Text in China (2016), the typographic poster exhibition of artists from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź (2016), TypoŁódź in the University Business Park GTC SA in Łódź (2012), ‘Posters from the City of Łódź’ in the Relaks Café in Warsaw (2013), Posters from Łódź in Brno (2015). The artist has also represented the Department of Graphic Design at academic teachers’ group exhibitions in such galleries as the Allmendinger Gallery in Łódź (2009), the Nova Sin Gallery on Ostrava, Czech Republic (2009), the FB2 Gallery in the Fachhochschule in Dortmund (2009), the Off Piotrkowska Gallery in Łódź (2012), the Kobro Gallery of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź (2012), the Lutnia Gallery at the Pedagogical University in Łódź (2012).
AWARDS:
The artist has received several awards and honourable mentions, such as the honourable mention of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers during the 22nd Poster Biennial in Katowice (2011), the honourable mention in the competition for the poster for the play ‘Oedipus’, the Łaźnia Nowa Theatre in Cracow (2006), the honourable mention in the competition for the logotype for Sosnowiec (2008). He has received the Award of the Rector of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź eight times (2012-2019) for contributing to the Academy’s development, organizing exhibitions of works by students and academic teachers of the Department of Graphic Design, designing promotional materials for the Academy and representing it in numerous graphic design events and conferences. In 2020 received the honourable mention in Polish Graphic Design Awards for the 'Afterimages' layout design.
