About FEIYANG ZHANG : Feiyang Zhang is an artist and designer based in London and New York. During her undergraduate she was admitted to the fashion department at The Art Institute of Chicago under Nick Cave in 2015. After graduation she worked as freelance designer for Vivenne Tam and Sachin&Babi. Specialised in textile and innovation design including material future, embroidery design and installation art. Feiyang is seeking for opportunities to build a career in the creative field. Living in the world full of creative minds, a huge number of artists dare to create the imagery of possible futures. As an artist who is obsessed with the imagination of utopian and dystopian futures, Feiyang wish to start from the stage of escaping from the reality world, with a reinforced sense of our own body. Navigating through this highly commercial chaotic world, Feiyang want to come back to the basic state of being a human. Thanks to her hobby of creative writing, she often have endless stories in my mind, and many of her designs begin to be based on them.
