About Nicholas McMillan : An experienced and award-winning creative professional with a demonstrated history of working within the marketing, communications, and education industries, Nicholas is skilled in conceptual, brand, collateral, and package design, marketing and communication strategy, as well as providing leadership to junior creatives.
STATEMENT OF ART:
I believe that design allows us to create work that answers numerous questions; some for a client, others in response to our daily lives, and still others that serve our creative need to experiment.

06.2021–Present // Graphic Design Contractor
Bosha Design & Communications
• Design internal communication assets for team members of select clients.
• Track time, stay on budget, and communicate with team members the status of all work utilizing various collaboration tools as part of a remote studio.
• Present work to studio creative directors for feedback and direction.
• Create assets for digital platforms including web banners, email templates, and front-end UI for Sharepoint and Wordpress sites

• Partnering with clients to effectively tell their story through the creation of various print, packaging, and environmental pieces.

01.2013–12.2020 // Assistant Professor of Art, Graphic Design

• Planned and coordinated lectures, projects, and schedules for up to seven graphic design courses per academic year.
• Directed up to 30 students per semester.
• Coauthored and conducted research for the Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design as part of the School of Arts, Media, and Communication at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.
• Developed and authored the curriculum for the Graphic Design focus within the Department of Art at Columbus State University.
