About Sei Hwa Neo : Sei Hwa has practiced as an Architect in a wide array of environment over the past 25 years…and counting. His experience covers Master Planning, Urban Design, Architecture as well as Interior Architecture and his portfolio of works includes commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects, both in Singapore as well as regionally. Sei Hwa has a keen interest in seeking a balanced and sustainable partnership between the built and the natural environment in his projects. Sei Hwa graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch., Hons.) in 1991 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.Arch., Arch. Studies) from the National University of Singapore in 1993. He worked with a local architectural practice before establishing TENarchitects in 2006. TENarchitects was founded and envisioned as a small group practice, with the simple notion of producing delightful architecture. This is reinforced by our belief that Architecture is inspired by Nature, organized by Program, corrupted by Context and subverted by Culture. Each design we produce is a unique creation that resonates the nuances of its influences. We understand the complexity of modern programs, challenges of the environment and limitations of resources…and we strive to ensure our works are as sustainable as its practical. Afterall, we have only 1 earth… and our children will inherit what we leave behind. TENarchitects is essentially a small practice, but we think big…and we deliver.
