RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The cardiotocography wave of the fetal heartbeat is from one of the client's patient which makes it meaningful to the clinic. After studying it, we chose one of the most interesting part of the cardiotocography wave as part of the feature wall. It forms a emotional connection between the space and the client, while the free form curves on the ceiling portrays a gentleness of the womb.
CHALLENGE: One of the hardest part of the design was the layout of the furniture as it has to cater to the different doctors based on whether they are right-handed or left-handed as to ensure a smooth checkup for the patients. Another challenge that we faced was how to make space for storage which is placed behind a wall and is only accessible using a certain sliding door system.
