There are so many products in our life, why do some of them make us feel no sense of design? Product design is actually a re-interpretation of the product text, with a symbol outside the product and the product between the interpretation. The interpretation between symbol and product is actually a perception of symbol (signified) and the interpretation between product. However, in the process of product design, designers sometimes bring the signifier of symbols (quality, shape, etc.) directly into the product to explain, so that the design of products will make people feel that there is no justification. Therefore, from the perspective of semiotics, we discuss the two-way deduction between the symbol and the product, so that we can learn how to use a symbol outside the product to explain each other in the process of designing the product.
