When, she admitted at University of Art in the field of Handicraft Making, she had a chance to experience all Iranian handicraft techniques; These include wood workshop (Monabbat and Mo'araq) pottery and ceramics workshop, weaving workshop (carpet, Geleem, Gabbeh and fabrics weaving) and metal workshop (metallic jewelry making). Then she started weaving fabrics with metallic fibers as her major! And later on, she succeeded in connecting applied arts such as jewelry with imagery art and has created a type of artwork that is not only limited to make someone or something more beautiful but to impress the observer as well. That’s why she has recently received 2 valuable certificates of “Awards of Excellence for Handicraft” from Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran.
After my graduation, my favorite professor in University introduced me to the “Biennale of Tapestry” which was held in Tehran in November 2008. During the exhibition, I received so many different reactions to my artworks until the famous Iranian fashion designer, Mrs. Shadi Parand got interested and bought all my artworks, tailored some of them to her design clothes, and showed them a week later in Almaty fashion week. This was the beginning of my profession as a jewelry maker. Through Shadi, I became relatively familiar with fashion design and sewing. She gave me courage to create unusual articles and fear nothing. Every year, I held a solo exhibition and tried to improve my technical weaknesses by hard work. Since I was mad about memorable little stuff, I started to create earrings from teaspoons to whistles and sublingual tablets, marbles etc.; the number of these earrings builds up to 200 pairs and I decided to exhibit them. Each of these earrings reminded me of one of my friends. I started taking photos from my friends and pulled every photo on a chassis, punched the ears piercing spot and hanged the earrings on my friends' ears. Experiencing this exhibition made me take it more seriously. That a piece of jewelry may carry a great deal of information and can be impressive and memorable as well as beautifying. One of my project was an exhibition titled "Solution" in which several artists with various media and styles participated. My job was to make necklaces with symbols and objects used in Iranian culture and superstitions as ornaments believing to solve their problems in daily life. From all of the exhibitions and events I’ve participated, I learned that it’s possible to bridge applied arts such as jewelry with imagery art and create an art not confined to beautify a wall but to impress the observer as well. In this case, we have harnessed the properties of a conceptual artwork along with the elements of a decorative usable piece. Therefore, I as a designer and jewelry maker follow this purpose and I hope to make my audience think about what is going on in the world or in the community we are living.
