About Ozgur Turan : He worked on experimental and traditional instrument-making for many years and realised many instrument projects. He had the chance to perform at international jazz festivals with the instruments he made. In 2014, he was invited to the "I. Malaga International Guitar Festival" as a luthier. In 2016, he started to work as a lecturer at Anadolu University Instrument Making Department. Turan, who has been developing new approaches to instrument-making education, prepared his thesis on sound art with Prof. Dr H. Alper Maral between 2017-2020, titled “The Concept of Sound Sculpture in The Context of Time and Space and The Plasticity of Music. He conducted seminars on the plasticity of sound, sound sculptures and instrument making. In 2022, he completed the Baroque Instruments Exhibition Project and edited this exhibit's catalogue and article book. He teaches courses such as Workshop, Instrument Design and Instrument Technologies. He is currently working on his PhD thesis on instrument design.
