View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Kajsa Willner STATEMENT OF ART:About Kajsa Willner : Kajsas world consists of daily bringing new ideas and concepts into peoples lives that leave them affected by an experience around a product or an interior. The clients and assignments vary from big to small, everything from developing a new product to making an entire interior project from idea to final decor and installation. Kajsa also has her own collection that consists of objects with a more experimental approach, produced in one offs or limited edition and possible to buy directly from her webshop or by sending an email for a special request.
The hallmark of Studio Kajsa Willner is to dare, to explore and to in a playful way challenge the preconception of what design is and should be. Why? because Kajsa strives to constantly continue to surprise, amaze and make people happy by giving them unique design experiences. "Everything that I do is created by a lust driven approach of exploring surfaces, materials, techniques, combinations and much more which I hope is reflected in what I do and create. In my work and for my clients I strive to bring forward the beauty in the contrast of making both objects that are valuing the unfinished - the rough as much as perfection - the refined.” ORGANIZATION: Studio Kajsa Willner EDUCATION: 2014 jan-june, 3-steg course for women entrepreneurs in the arts and crafts arranged by KONSTHANTVERKCENTRUM – Malmö 2013 Entrepreneurship course at Malmö folkhögskola 2007-2009 IED Istituto Europeo di design in Rome and Milan in Italy 2005 Graphic course at Art Collage – Gothenburg 2003-2005 Kv Konstskola – Art studies – Gothenburg 2002 Art course at Art Collage – Gothenburg EXPERIENCE: 2016 Organizer for a children workshop ( 1 day)- Malmöfestivalen – build your own design caravan in collaboration with Stoft studio – Malmö SWE 2015-ongoing Teacher – Pauliskolan Malmö – Teacher for a course called design 1 2015-ongoing Project curator – WE ARE LOCALS = nomads design caravan, a project initiated and created by Studio Kajsa Willner in collaboration with another local studio Studio stoft.
