View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Chih Chung ShenAbout Chih Chung Shen : Chih Chung, Shen (Ron Shen), the director and the chairman of X-Line Design Co., Ltd., established in 2005 as X-Line Design Studio, set up Shen Chih Chung Union Design Co., Ltd. in 2013.
Ron Shen was graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design of University of the Arts London. He won many awards and has made outstanding contributions in the field of interior design. His works have been recognized by internationally renowned design media such as INTERIOR DESIGN, ATTITUDE, etc. He also performs CSR by giving lecture classes to university students.
X-Line Design, is involved mainly in space design, including building space, commercial space, and residential space, with the concept of "linear stretch" to explore the essence of space, and to investigate the constancy between perception and space.
Born in this world, humans co-exist with all beings and produce sensory perception for events due to the different environment, thereby activating the emotions to derive memories. Space grants perception to people through the environment and develops the memories for things as time passes. For this reason all beings are no longer pure while spatial wall, materials and layout differentiate, turning from “virtual” to “reality,” and thereby containing the significance of existence of “essence.” Aesthetics is more than the visual surface. We connect the “article” and “quality” with the conversation between environmental region and materials through design, activating the space for users to extend into the future connection from the past, creating humanistic stories of interior space, and abandoning the shackles of styles on artistic performance. The materials interpret the unparalleled indoor situation through principles of proportion to bestow the emotions and memories of people again. Life is the long-lasting stream that hides sensory in the thinking context of the space.
