DESIGN NAME: DokHaeTok
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Reading Comprehension Brand
INSPIRATION: We designed the brand experience to link reading with enjoyment. First, the book is divided into five thin theme books. The cover is designed to link this feature to the image of the can open. Second, we use a bubble-like feature that contains questions that are freely placed on the page. Kids can learn to read as easily and simply as taking a quiz. Lastly, the app is designed to help kids feel reading is fun. In this way, DokHaeTok wanted children to naturally enjoy reading at all times.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: DokHaeTok is a reading comprehension brand that provides an exciting learning experience through a variety of media. Children can read various stories in theme books and use an app to solve quizzes. The app's chatbot helps children answer questions. Also, they can use a variety of DokHaeTok's supplies, such as a study note. To encourage continued learning, pages in books consist of various variations, and the app is designed to help children feel a sense of achievement through level-up.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: DokHaeTok is a brand that increases reading ability through books, apps and a cube game. The book has a variety of pages with interesting themes that provide cartoons, illustrations and text content. The guide book provides a cube set for children to play question games. Children can use the app to solve quizzes and ask questions. We also used brand images to create a variety of school supplies for children to use. DokHaeTok has always tried to create a brand where children can enjoy reading.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: DokHaeTok has many fun features helping learners build reading habits. First, one thin theme book can be read in a week for learners to feel a sense of achievement. We used bookbinding technology to bind five thin, torn books into one. Second, harmless far infrared ink, tooling and epoxy resin are used for children's safety. The app, like children's games, is used with books. And we implemented an interactive chatbot system in the app to communicate directly with children.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The dimension of DokHaeTok is 225mm x 300mm x 13mm and it is printed with harmless far-infrared ink. For safety, the corners are cut in a round shape. Different age levels have different cover design colors of distinguishing; tooling and epoxy resin are used in the post-processing stage. Off-query technology was used to bind five books into one. The app is supported by IOS and Android, and its chatbot feature allows users to conveniently request information and receive answers.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: When children begin to watch more videos than they read books, their reading comprehension skills are declining. The DokHeaTok team surveyed 679 people on reading skills and found that 76 percent of people read books with creative themes to help them learn the language. The result means that children are having trouble reading and are trying to improve their reading skills. That's why we created a brand called DokHeaTok to help children read and improve their reading skills.
CHALLENGE: An important goal of the DokHeaTok Project is to build continued learning habits for students who do not enjoy reading. For this, the project was designed with easy and familiar topics, a playful learning layout that's fun to use, simple quizzes for self-checking, and an app like game. DokHeaTok gives children familiar with videos like YouTube to be confident in reading in a fun and easy way.
