| DESIGN NAME: Tongue-Bongue PRIMARY FUNCTION: Candy Package INSPIRATION: The wish was to create a package for some kind of food. Attention was paid on eating process itself such as taking and putting food in the mouth. This was a background to idea. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: People use the tongue to suck all sorts of sweets. Tongue-shaped lollipops create a surreal metaphor "tongue on (human) tongue". OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The tongue starts from the back of the box, covers the opening area of the box (works as an additional protection against opening), and "closes" through a slot in the mouth. It turns out into box-mouth in which lay candy-tongues. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project was made for German package competition, started in Moscow, February-April 2017. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: paper SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 50 x 50 x 70 mm assembled 240 x 250 mm for printing TAGS: tongue, tongue-bongue, package, toy-package, fruits RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The packages that are in the store are mostly standard (square, rectangular), and do not lure to make a spontaneous buy. Idea was to make an offer for a new version of packaging that one wants to support in hands, study and buy. CHALLENGE: Most difficult was to understand how to transport this package to shops and for whom this package can be, since the upper part cannot be wrinkled.
